TIAG® Tasked to Deliver Enterprise Health Information Technology Services for Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic

Navy Awards TIAG® $39M Prime Contract for Clinical Enterprise Intelligence and Health Registries Support Services

RESTON, Va., April 2, 2019 – TIAG® — an innovative technology company providing strategic, transformational solutions to private industry and across the Department of Defense (DoD) —recently won a $39 million prime contract to deliver data analytics, business intelligence and other enterprise health information technology (HIT) support services for Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic (previously known as SPAWAR / Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command—Atlantic), based in Charleston, S.C.

Supporting the Clinical Enterprise Intelligence and Health Registries contract during the next four years, TIAG will deliver HIT services in business intelligence, data analytics, data modeling, health registries management and healthcare delivery subject matter expertise, in addition to clinical intelligence and health registries systems engineering, testing and integration.

TIAG Managing Principal and Chief Strategy Officer Umang Modi notes that TIAG will work together with NIWC-Atlantic’s Medical Information Delivery Integrated Product Team (IPT) supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Enterprise Intelligence and Data Solutions Program Management Office. DHA operates the DoD Medical Health System (MHS), and members of NIWC’s Medical Information Delivery IPT provide tools, data and processes to further the goal of getting the right health information to the right customers at the right time, in the right format.

“Through this work, TIAG will spearhead data analytics, business intelligence and quantitative techniques to help DHA clinicians and health care managers improve patient care delivery and clinical outcomes,” says Modi. “TIAG’s expertise will provide a critical capability for the MHS as it pursues clinical transformation and takes action to dramatically improve the overall delivery performance in terms of cost and quality.”

“We are extremely honored and excited about this award, which further solidifies TIAG’s stalwart reputation for delivering innovation throughout the defense health community, and allows us to expand our data analytics and medical science offerings,” says TIAG President and Chief Operating Officer Neil Lampton. “Simultaneously, this win empowers TIAG to achieve our long-planned expansion into the Charleston market, where we will be joining our new highly talented program resources and TIAG office to the greater TIAG family.”
