TIAG is Now an FOP Vetted and Approved Wellness Provider

The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), the world’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, has included TIAG and its mobile app, mResilience (mRes), as an approved wellness provider and app to help members of law enforcement suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression, familial adversity, social stress, and substance abuse.

“TIAG’s vision is to provide first responders with the tools and skills necessary to develop, maintain, and rebuild personal resilience,” shares Umang Modi, Managing Partner and Chief Strategy Officer for TIAG, “this designation further validates of the importance of and researched-backed, practical, and actionable strategies that build resistance.”

Going beyond just physical health, mRes helps officers connect to supportive networks in and beyond the department, understand the physiological response to stressful events, develop goals to help build attainable achievements, and dial in on what motivates first responders to do the work they do every day. mRes emphasizes a “prehab” approach to building and maintaining personal resilience. mRes takes an organization-specific approach to resources. It is preloaded with relevant content but is completely customizable and can be maintained by the customer to keep content current and relevant.

“We are honored to receive this designation by the FOP. We know from our work that taking action before, during, and after a traumatic incident can greatly impact general well-being and mitigate the adverse impacts of stress,” shares Steve Vincent, Technology Partnerships Manager at TIAG and retired U.S. Navy Captain, “mRes allows first responders the ability to explore, engage, and experiment in creating a tailored, individualized resilience program that fits their needs and lifestyle. This allows them to build healthy habits and become comfortable with the techniques to help deal with the tough stuff inherent in the job. We specifically designed mRes to be confidential and personal information is protected by NEVER collecting it.”

The FOP, FOP members, police officers, and members of law enforcement recognize the importance of treatment for those suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression, familial adversity, social stress and substance abuse. TIAG, through mRes, will be able to offer FOP members, police officers, and members of law enforcement an app that provides a customizable research-based resiliency training and companion program.
