TIAG Honored with 2023 HIRE Vets Medallion Award from the U.S. Department of Labor

Known for delivering transformative technology solutions across the Department of Defense, TIAG is recognized alongside other top employers in the nation who share our dedication to supporting our military Veteran community.

RESTON, Va. TIAG, a leading innovator in defense technology, proudly announces its recognition as one of the 859 recipients of the 2023 HIRE Vets Medallion Platinum Award from the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Acting Secretary of Labor, Julie A. Su. This is the third year TIAG has received the award for its outstanding commitment to hiring and retaining military Veterans. The company joins an elite group of employers across the nation who have demonstrated an unwavering dedication to providing meaningful career opportunities for those who have served our country.

“We have a long-standing commitment to supporting Veterans and their families – we know firsthand the value and unique skills that military Veterans and military spouses bring to the workforce. We are PROUD to serve those who serve our country and this recognition further validates our commitment to supporting our nation’s Veterans,” says Neil Lampton, President and COO of TIAG.

The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes employers who successfully recruit, hire, and retain Veterans. In order to qualify, companies must meet rigorous employment and Veteran integration assistance criteria, including Veteran hiring and retention percentages, availability of Veteran-specific resources, leadership programming for Veterans, dedicated human resource efforts, pay compensation, and tuition assistance programs for Veterans.

This award reflects TIAG’s dedication to hiring and retaining military Veterans, as well as providing them with opportunities for growth and success in their civilian careers. TIAG is a hiring partner and part of the Microsoft Software and Systems Academy (MSSA), is V3- Certified through the Virginia Values Veterans Program (V3) to work with the Department of Veterans Services and other strategic partners to support Virginia’s Veterans, and is an active member in the Defense Department’s Military Spouse Employment Partnership and SkillBridge Program. TIAG also partners with organizations like Operation Homefront, America’s VetDogs, Operation Turbo, Soldiers’ Angels, and others several times throughout the year to give back to those who have sacrificed so much for our nation’s freedom.
