tiag® Announces Agile Six Acquisition of T4NG Business Unit Supporting U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

RESTON, Va., July 11, 2017 – tiag® is pleased to announce that Agile Six Applications, Inc. will acquire tiag’s Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) business unit, which includes tiag’s T4NG contract vehicle and work supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Last year, tiag won this contract — comprising a five-year base ordering period and five-year option period — to provide vital IT solutions including technical support, operations, program and network management, strategy planning, systems and software engineering, enterprise network engineering, cybersecurity, and other IT and health-related IT services.

Supporting the MyVA transformation effort, tiag has delivered superior results on the MyVA Dashboard, a high-visibility project designed to measure effectiveness of the MyVA initiative across the agency. In this work, tiag successfully leveraged Agile development processes to provide solutions architecture and analytics for the MyVA Dashboard system. Impressively, tiag’s MyVA Dashboard team earned a flawless score in its Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) cycle — making tiag’s past performance for the entire T4NG vehicle a perfect five in each of the four criteria, including Meeting Technical Needs, Project Milestones and Schedule, Project Staffing and Value of the Contractor. As the highest possible score a contractor can earn, this was a rare, extraordinary achievement.

tiag president and CEO Dalita Harmon commented that, although tiag made a big difference within VA through the company’s work on this project, the VA could continue to receive significant benefits by the novation of its contract to Agile Six, as a well-known Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). VA was seeking — and will now benefit from — the tremendous structure of this brawny SDVOSB, which was specifically established to deliver innovative Agile development in concert with the U.S. Digital Services Playbook.

“Moving forward, it is a natural transition for Agile Six to bridge this expertise, as a wholesome, value-driven company that mirror’s tiag’s culture and desire to support veterans,” says Harmon.
