As Executive Director of Solutions & Technology, Jake oversees TIAG’s internal IT investments and works with senior leadership to develop and execute the company’s innovation strategy. He oversees the company’s internal IT operations and is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s approach to IT security meets all compliance and certification targets.

In addition to managing an active contract portfolio, Jake is focused on TIAG’s growth and maturity as a robust and innovative IT solutions provider. Bringing more than 15 years of technical engineering and management experience in government and the IT industry, Jake works to build strategic vendor partnerships and expand TIAG’s portfolio of unique and innovative offerings. He oversees the delivery of software and infrastructure projects across diverse, state-of-the-art network technologies, as well as the company’s mission-critical IT applications and services. Through frequent collaboration with TIAG subject matter experts and IT team leads, as well as a continuous focus on emerging technologies and trends, Jake is able to identify the short and long term technology needs of TIAG and its clients.

As a growing company, it is imperative that TIAG operate from an enterprise mindset in terms of how we market to customers and manage our internal IT operations and business systems. Jake has the vision, expertise, and passion for people and this industry to ensure that TIAG continues to scale in a sustainable way. From his role as a thought leader in TIAG’s ThinkTanks, to developing corporate IT strategy that builds strategic partnerships and vendor alliances, Jake is instrumental to TIAG’s position as an growing IT innovation leader. 

Since joining TIAG in 2008, Jake has led successful initiatives spanning diverse environments — among them, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Army Warrior Transition Command, U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, U.S. Army Materiel Command, U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command, Air National Guard, Defense Healthcare Management Systems, General Services Administration, and Corporation for National and Community Service. 

Prior to joining TIAG, Jake excelled as an engineer and software developer for government contracting firms. His current breadth of knowledge and skills is evidenced by impressive qualifications in cloud architecture, information security, agile practices, IT support and Infrastructure, and IT service management.
