As Executive Director of Technology & Contract Operations, Jake leverages over 20 years of technical and leadership experience to steer TIAG’s delivery of exceptional operational execution and innovative technology adoption. In his Contract Operations oversight role, Jake fosters TIAG’s success-oriented culture and reputation for delivering value beyond the scope of work. In collaboration with TIAG’s brilliant stable of operational portfolio leaders, he ensures effective project management, quality performance, and timely delivery.  Jake also oversees TIAG’s internal IT investments and works with senior leadership to develop and execute the company’s innovation strategy. He oversees the company’s internal IT operations and is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s approach to IT security meets all compliance and certification targets.

Beyond the flawless execution of TIAG’s existing portfolio of contracts, Jake is focused on TIAG’s growth and maturity as a robust and innovative IT solutions provider. He works to build strategic vendor partnerships and expand TIAG’s portfolio of unique and innovative offerings, which includes the state-changing Warrior Performance Platform human performance management system. He oversees the delivery of software and cloud projects across diverse platforms and technologies and is responsible for the operations of the company’s mission-critical IT applications and services. Through frequent collaboration with TIAG subject matter experts and IT team leads, as well as a continuous focus on emerging technologies and trends, Jake is able to identify the short and long term technology needs of TIAG and its clients.

As a growing company, it is imperative that TIAG operate from an enterprise mindset in terms of how we market to customers and manage our internal IT operations and business systems. A graduate of the Wharton Executive Education Chief Technology Officer (CTO) program, Jake has the vision, expertise, and passion for people and this industry to ensure that TIAG continues to scale in a sustainable way. From his role as a thought leader in TIAG’s ThinkTanks, to developing corporate IT strategy that builds strategic partnerships and vendor alliances, Jake is instrumental to TIAG’s position as an growing IT innovation leader. 

Since joining TIAG in 2008, Jake has led successful initiatives spanning diverse environments — among them U.S. Center for Initial Military Training, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Army Warrior Transition Command, U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, U.S. Army Materiel Command, U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command, Air National Guard, Defense Healthcare Management Systems, General Services Administration, and Corporation for National and Community Service. 

Prior to joining TIAG, Jake excelled as an engineer and software developer for government contracting firms. His current breadth of knowledge and skills is evidenced by impressive qualifications in cloud architecture, information security, agile practices, IT support and Infrastructure, and IT service management.
