Advancing Soldier Fitness and Resilience, U.S. Army SHARP, Ready and Resilient Directorate Awards TIAG® Prime Contract for Mobile Platform Development and Data Analytics
RESTON, Va., December 9, 2019 — U.S. Army’s SHARP, Ready and Resilient (SR2) Directorate recently awarded a prime contract for mobile platform development and data analytics to TIAG® — an innovative health information technology company providing strategic, transformational solutions to customers in the public sector and across the Department of Defense.
Working with the Department of the Army’s Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel (also known as Army G-1), TIAG will engineer a mobile platform that automates outdated, arduous paper processes, and improves upon resources intended to enhance total fitness for soldiers.
In this work, TIAG will deliver state-of-the-art technology that can provide actionable feedback for military leaders. Driving innovation for the SR2 directorate, these processes and resources include a soldier self-assessment tool for resilience, and a behavioral health survey tool that enables soldiers to obtain feedback and access resources to surmount physical and psychological barriers to total fitness. Commanders will be able to rapidly assess the resilience and behavioral health status of their formations, and in turn, speedily allocate resources and implement programs based on current needs.
In addition to creating an electronic platform, database and dashboard to provide automated feedback for commanders and behavioral health officers, TIAG will deliver a user-friendly tool for field use.
“We are honored to provide Army G-1 and SR2 with real solutions to complex problems,” says TIAG Executive Director Arthur (“Charlie”) Doutt. “The state-of-the-art technology TIAG will deliver can save precious time, and hopefully, lives, while empowering military leaders to rapidly assess possible mental health concerns and take action to prevent suicides and other negative events.”
Expanding TIAG’s mobile platform portfolio and broadening its footprint across Army G1, this win — together with prior readiness projects TIAG successfully delivered for this customer — evidences the Army values TIAG as a technical partner.
