Accelerated Innovation and IT Initiatives for Government and Commercial Clients Fueled by New Executive Leadership at tiag®
RESTON, Va., July 21, 2017 – Fueling a company-wide approach to innovation that delivers visionary, high-impact solutions for government and commercial clients, tiag® announces new executive leadership promotions to accelerate the technology services provider’s ongoing growth and expanded IT initiatives.
Promoted to executive director, Kate Beltran will lead tiag’s new Technology and Innovations Strike Team — a first-of-its-kind core group of visionary innovators who develop and implement ultimate-solution technology initiatives that provide greater value and impact for customers. Also promoted to executive director, Arthur (“Charlie”) Doutt will oversee daily operations, contractual performance and all Information Management Information Technology (IMIT) services for tiag’s military health portfolio — guiding the direction of each contract for implementation of sage strategies and innovative technologies.
Beltran, a well-credentialed program management professional who joined tiag in 2011, previously served as tiag director supporting high profile projects for government and private sector clients. Driving tiag’s visionary innovation to help customers forge new pathways, she has been instrumental in expanding the company’s Pacific Northwest client base of federal government, military, municipal and state government organizations. Now facilitating cohesion and collaboration for tiag’s Technology and Innovations Strike Team, Beltran will organize, direct and manage team operations, capabilities, activities and deliverables. Empowering the team’s creation of cutting-edge IT solutions and next-generation technologies, Beltran will also advance transformation of research and development efforts into actionable business initiatives that bring new technologies to market.
Previously serving as tiag managing director, Doutt brings strong leadership skills and 20 years’ experience advancing Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Health Agency (DHA) initiatives. Since joining tiag in 2005, he has led vast multi-disciplinary teams of technical and business professionals and delivered outstanding results for numerous organizations — among them, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, U.S. Army Office of the Surgeon General, and Army Medical Research and Materiel Command. Impressively, Doutt is a three-time winner of tiag’s President’s Circle Award, the company’s highest honor, recognizing his commitment, integrity and achievements in making a true difference for tiag’s customers across DoD. Drawing from his successes in IT, business planning, project and program management, Doutt will continue to interface directly with tiag customers and ensure superior performance in product, performance and deliverables for all tiag military health programs.
“tiag’s unique company culture is one in which each of us shares great passion for the transformative power of innovative technologies,” says tiag president and CEO Dalita Harmon. “Kate and Charlie demonstrate the transformative power of exceptional leaders who relentlessly pursue opportunities to make a genuine difference for clients. We look forward to witnessing the success and impact their leadership will make in these innovative IT Initiatives for the customers we serve.”
