tiag selected to support US Army Warrior Transition Command (WTC) through modernization and maintenance of Army Warrior Care and Transition System (AWCTS)
tiag announced it has been selected to support the US Army Warrior Transition Command (WTC) through modernization and maintenance of Army Warrior Care and Transition System (AWCTS).
AWCTS was developed in response to a need to consolidate various Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT) systems that were supporting the WTC and its direct reporting units. AWCTS’s integrated and unified web-based application, accessible to the ends user 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, has greatly improved capabilities to track each Soldier’s progress every step of the way. AWCTS currently contains over 48,000 active cases, 180,000 archived (closed) cases, has a user base of over 13,400 and, over the past 4 months, has been accessed an average of 3,137 times a day.
tiag’s IM/IT team will provide critical Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support and Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation (RDT&E) services for AWCTS including establishing and maintaining an AWCTS help desk, infrastructure support, and identification and support of future requirements and new functionality.
tiag’s efforts to manage AWCTS’s life cycle will ensure WTC meets its mission in supporting the Army’s wounded, ill, and injured soldiers and their families.
