tiag Selected for Fort Belvoir Community Hospital IM/IT Augmentation Support

tiag has been selected to provide IT staffing support to the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH) at Fort Belvoir. Since it’s opening, FBCH has experienced dramatic transformations brought on by BRAC, by changing and enhancing mission support expectations for FBCH within the Joint Task Force Capital Region Medical Command (JTF CapMed), by new opportunities for collaboration and mission integration of health services with Navy and Air Force Medical Services and the Department of Veterans Affairs, and by new requirements for support brought on by the fielding of new operations and sustainment of new medical information systems and the implementation of the electronic health record throughout the region.

Accordingly, tiag will provide IM/IT program management, technical support and clinical informatics expertise in direct support of this emerging business and clinical transformation of the FBCH. tiag will directly support the FBCH Chief Information Office with oversight and collaboration roles, across the hospital at the facility level, as a BRAC partner in the JTFCapMed Consortium and a MHS regional pilot program host for emerging pilot initiatives that may occur trans-regionally.
