TIAG® Demonstrates Innovation at Defense Health Information Technology Symposium July 30 – August 1 in Orlando

RESTON, Va., July 10, 2019 — TIAG® — an innovative technology company providing strategic, transformational solutions to private industry and across the Department of Defense — will exhibit at the 2019 Defense Health Information Technology Symposium (DHITS). Taking place July 30-August 1 at the Caribe Royale Hotel and the Grand Caribe Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, DHITS brings together information technology professionals, health care providers, administrators and participants from the Military Health System (MHS), Defense Health Agency (DHA), and Military Services Health IT communities.

Conference attendees will find TIAG in Booth 913 at DHITS, where the IT firm will demonstrate innovative approaches to data analytics, infrastructure optimization, clinical and business informatics, cloud integration, cybersecurity and IT modernization — all of which will dominate major topics of conversation at DHITS 2019.

“DHITS presents unique opportunities each year to interact with many of our existing customers, sharing collective successes and lessons learned. It’s an event that empowers us all to connect the dots across similar operational environments in the mutual aim to strengthen the defense health mission,” says TIAG President and Chief Operating Officer Neil Lampton.

Celebrating two decades of service this year, TIAG has been deeply involved in the defense health community at every level, from individual medical treatment facilities and medical commands to numerous branches of MHS and DHA. Notably, TIAG helped advance the progress of military health care modernization by assisting with architecture, testing, certification and interoperability of DoD’s new Electronic Health Record (EHR) — known as MHS Genesis— as it rolls out to the greater defense health community. TIAG also supports DHA Joint Operations Medical Information Systems with legacy military theatre applications for first responders on the battlefield.

“Expanding TIAG’s DHA portfolio, our recent award for Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic trusts TIAG to deliver clinical enterprise intelligence and health registries support services including data analytics, business intelligence, and other enterprise health IT services that enhance patient care,” says TIAG Managing Principal and Chief Strategy Officer Umang Modi.

For the fifth year, TIAG is again hosting a networking social for the Defense Health community, together with Irving Burton Associates, Inc. (IBA), on Tuesday, July 30 from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm at Howl at the Moon, located at 8815 International Drive in Orlando. The first 300 guests to arrive will receive open bar wristbands.
