U.S. Army Warrior Transition Command (WTC)
WTC is a one-star command under the U.S. Army Medical Command. WTC's mission is to develop, coordinate and integrate the Army's Warrior Care and Transition Program for wounded, ill and injured soldiers, veterans and their families or caregivers to promote success in the force or civilian life.
WTC serves an essential role, not only in managing the care and recovery of soldiers evacuated from theater, but also those preparing to deploy and those who have returned from combat that require complex care management to cope with the effects of war and multiple deployments. WTC works to ensure everything possible is done to enable soldiers to return to duty. WTC also plays an important role in ensuring Reserve Component soldiers receive the care they require prior to and after deployment to remain mission ready.
WTC required an automated system to streamline compliance tracking and quickly identify caregiver trends.
tiag developers are using an Agile development methodology to quickly respond to system deficiencies and emerging requirements, working closely with government stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure that the solution aligns with overarching policy and procedures. Our team collaborates with an external hosting provider to architect a reliable, highly available, and performing infrastructure that meets the needs of the system while making efficient use of resources and minimizing cost to the command.
Additionally, tiag provides WTC with a full suite of system support services, including project management, business process and requirements analysis, web application development, technical architecture, training development and support, technical writing, and service desk.
In support of the WTC's mission to provide world-class care to the Army's wounded and ill soldier population, tiag is developing software to automate and streamline the operations of caregivers and provide dashboards, reports, and metrics that allow leaders to easily track compliance with a comprehensive transition plan and discover trends.
