Defense Health Agency (DHA)
The DHA's mission is to achieve greater integration of direct and purchased health care delivery systems to accomplish the Department of Defense (DoD) Quadruple Aim: achieve medical readiness, improve the health of our people, enhance the experience of care, and lower health care costs. On October 1, 2013, the DHA assumed responsibility for shared services, functions, and activities of the Military Health System (MHS) and other common clinical and business processes.
The MHS needed to establish and maintain an inventory of all information technology (IT) systems funded by Defense Health Program appropriations. It was critical to make this repository accessible for program managers and data owners to provide system information on their respective systems.
tiag professionals developed the Defense Health Program Systems Inventory Report Tool (DHP-SIRT) and also provided the analysis of the DHA-managed systems to determine how the systems should be defined for inventory reporting. Our team prepared DHP-SIRT documentation, managed DHP-SIRT change requirements and monitored the data quality of DHP-SIRT, coordinating data changes as necessary.
Additionally, tiag performed a variety of user support activities, represented DHA in DoD Information Technology Portfolio Repository (DITPR) Design Reviews and Change Review Boards as well as in several DITPR-oriented Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) workgroups, represented DHA in the Warfighter Mission Area (WMA) Domain Owners Council meetings and served as liaison with the WMA staff.
tiag professionals developed DHP-SIRT, which streamlines the review and analysis of Defense Business Certification packages and automates the process of populating the OSD DITPR.
