CNCS selects tiag to provide technical expertise to support and streamline complex needs

tiag is thrilled to announced it was awarded a 7-year IDIQ which brings a new customer, the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), and exciting new opportunities for tiag.  CNCS is a federal agency engaging more than 5 million Americans in service and volunteering through its core programs such as AmeriCorps, Senior Corps, the Social Innovation Fund, Volunteer Generation Fund and the National Service Knowledge Network.  CNCS invests in thousands of non-profit groups that strengthen education, recover and rebuild communities lost from natural disaster, support military families, improve health, and build economic opportunities for America’s communities.

The complexity of the organization in orchestrating collaboration among corporations, federal agencies, individuals who volunteer, educational institutions, faith-based entities and the like creates tremendous challenges.  tiag’s role will be to provide consultation, technical advice, guidance and development of software and web technologies that will support and streamline CNCS’s complex needs.  The IDIQ type award provides CNCS ultimate flexibility and capability to directly task tiag with ongoing new development work and provides a long-term relationship between the organizations.
