Directing TIAG’s work in the south central part of the U.S., Duane guides diverse IT initiatives supporting Defense Health Agency including Health Information Technology (formerly NAVMISSA), Enterprise Operational Architecture, and Spectacle Request Transmission System, and Brooke Army Medical Center. Bringing a results-driven approach to such endeavors as migration and modernization of complex enterprises and systems, Duane wows customers while resolving unique challenges.
In addition to contract management, performance and sustainment, Duane develops new business partnerships to maximize TIAG expertise. Cultivating and nurturing top technical talent to match strategic missions, Duane rallies team effort and inspires superior performance. Since joining TIAG in 2011, Duane has made outstanding contributions, generating exceptional value for customers while mastering increasing levels of leadership at TIAG — where he has transitioned from program manager to senior manager and director. Initially serving as commitment manager in TIAG’s first projects with the U.S. Navy, Duane helped redefine the NAVMISSA mission, and recruited highly specialized program management staff to modernize Navy health IT infrastructure.
Before TIAG, Duane was a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, serving commands in Maryland, Oklahoma, Texas, Germany, Korea, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Specializing in IT operations management, information assurance, cybersecurity and communications, he served in executive leadership and director capacities for numerous federal agencies, directorates and task force operations.
